Just kidding around. Those two threads are threads where we challenged people to post pics of themselves and pics of their desk (like real desk, furniture). That's where Vinny's pic above came from.

I'm in a live Kubuntu session doing some tests and find myself here for a very long time. Being beer-thirty doesn't help.

You won't find inxi in your Kubuntu.
In fact, open Konsole and run it:
          inxi -Fxxx

Use Muon Package Manager to install inxi.

          Run it in Konsole:
          inxi -Fxxx

Read about it in the "man pages":
          at Konsole run
          man inxi

I was hoping to get you used to Muon, but that's good; you mean sudo apt-get install inxi?

I picked this up from Vinny. The x's -- if you carefully read the man page because it is embedded in text --the x's indicate more information; so more and more and more for 3 x's. You can run it with one or two x's -Fx, -Fxx, and see the diff.

Though logitech says they love linux, my mouse has a feature on the scroll wheel where you click down on it, it goes into auto scroll by moving the cursor up/down the page. Doesn't work here.

I don't know about mice. Maybe needs an extra/better driver? may be one written somewhere for Linux? big questions ...
