    I'll go back to your instructions.
    Go to, again, K > Applications > System > Muon Package Manager and this time Right-Click on it and Add to Favorites: the Favorites are the apps listed by simply clicking the K button, very convenient. You can remove Muon Package Manager from the Favorites by right-clicking it (in the Favorites list) and selecting Remove from Favorites and it will still be found, as before, here: K > Applications > System > Package Manager--Muon Package Manager.
    ;-)

      While you are in Muon Package Manager, check a few things, like check to see if Ruby is installed (it is): type ruby in that search window (on the Muon Package Manager screen), it'll come up below and show "installed."

      Check Post #414 again.

        Did it already, yes, that one particular Ruby deal is installed. This is crazy but cool stuff. I will no longer have the life as it existed before Kubuntu. And page 44.

          Oh you were talking about adding it to Favorites. Right-clicked and it's not in the drop down. In the upper left is a "Window Menu" button. Seems like days ago I saw a Windows app. What's that? Found another way to do it. Probably what you meant. BTW, I'm using the "Classic Menu".

              I know, I know. I thought you meant launch Mgr, right click up top and select Move to Favorites would be in a dropdown menu. Can you pull over somewhere? I need to pee.

                          Would it be beneficial to click "full upgrade" in Muon Package Manager?

                            No. I don't even know what it means, but it sounds like going "up"[down] to 15.04. Nope. I'd learn at 14.04, then wait for th NEXT LTS version (maybe 16.04?). Muon Updater will notify you when critical updates are available, and you can take them. Just be careful not to ever click "There's a new version of Kubuntu ... upgrade me now ..." kind of thing.

                            Btw, you know that 14.04 = 2014, the 4th month (April); 16.04 = 2016 the 4th month (April), 15.04 = 2015 the 4th month, etc. => YY.MM

                              Vinny's a cutie there. Wonder, up against my 38 S&W snub-nose Special ...? naw, don't think that would be smart of me. Vinny, where's that thread about posting yourself, and posting your geeky desk; that's how we can peg logan01 ....
