    Photoshop

    Has anyone tried loading Photoshop under Wine. I have followed the instructions in the Tips for newbies and configured Wine with the Sidenet config utility and that looks good. When I use Wine to install Photoshop from the install CD it says it needs IE4 and is going to install it and then reboot. I chicken out at this point.

    kubuntu hates wine. photoshop was installed aok with me.. crashed with no help..

    Wine loves Fedora tho..

      Wine will work with only older versions of Photoshop.

      You need to use GIMP, run Photoshop with Crossover Office, or use Windows with VMWare or a dual boot.

        up to PS CS 1 NOT CS 2 are supposed to run well with the latest version of Wine but you will need to add the wine repository to your source's to get the latest version.

        deb http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/apt dapper main
