    Sound Card Question

I've noticed recently that if I'm listening to music with one of the players like amarok and browsing the Internet, if i happen upon a page that has a file with sound such as a youTube video and I try to play it it has no sound. This happens the reverse way to.

How can I set it so a program won't block the sound card if it's being used, and allow it to be used by both at the same time?

I've never head of this happening, but I would think you would just set your sound config to full duplex. Click the KDE start button, go to System Settings and then to Sound & Multimedia. Click the Hardware tab and check Full Duplex.

    Regards,

And now after thinking about that, I went and tried doing the same thing only using Konqueror as the browser and sound worked on both. It seems it only does this when I use Firefox or Flock.
