Amarok splash

Hi there!
I found a nice boot splash picture for Amarok at kde-look.org and replaced the old one.
But whenever I start Amarok the splash picture never shows up

I placed the picture in /usr/share/apps/amarok/images/splash_screen.png

Any nice thoughts about this?

The splash screen for Amarok has been missing in version 1.4.1. It's fixed in 1.4.2. which will be the one that Edgy will use.

Hi again.
I have just updated to Amarok 1.4.2 build date Aug 31 2006
There is NO boot splash in this one by default.
Can I change this?

Found it:
Change the
/usr/share/kubuntu-default-settings/kde-profile/default/share/config/amarokrc

Show Splashscreen=true

You did remember to enable the Splash Screen in Amarok > Settings > Configure Amarok after you upgraded to 1.4.2, did you?

Glad you found your answer. I would just note that this changes the default for all users in your system. But if you're the only user there, no biggie.

Now I feel really stupid... that was the easy solution
I didn't check the:
Amarok > Settings > Configure
but now i know

did u achieve to change your splash screen for a new one splash_screen.png?

i ask, becouse i tried to do that and i could not do, some guys on ubuntu-irc told me that it cannot be png it got to be only jpg. So i think you could not do that.
