KDE connect, 2:00 a.m. bedside notes, Android

Suffice it to say that for decades I awake in the middle of the night and jot notes on a yellow pad.

    That is changing.

I now wake up, grab the Android phone, open a "notepad", speak into the phone, save, then "share" using KDE connect, to my computer which is in another room, through three walls about 25 feet away.

The next morning, the desktop is displaying the note(s) in a Kate window(s) on the desktop.

If there are any questions please ask.

I can say I do that using Cheetah Mobile's File Manager. Been using it a long time and works great to browse my desktop. I used to use UbuntuOne to share files remotely too but of course we know what happened to UbuntuOne!
