Just started Breezy. I would like to use BitTorrent with a GUI for KDE. Is this possible? How? Thanks for assisting another newbie.

Re: KDE GUI for BitTorrent
Thanks for the suggestions.
I have downloaded Ktorrent 1.1 to my desktop. I have no idea what is next. I tried the compile and install instructions from the download page. I tried with and without kdesu. Here are the errors I received. What to do?
noridlo45@ubuntubob:~$ kdesu tar -xvzf ktorrent-1.1.tar.gz
kdesu: Unknown option '-xvzf'.
noridlo45@ubuntubob:~$ tar ktorrent-1.1.tar.gz
tar: Old option `g' requires an argument.
Thanks for assisting this newbie.Kubuntu, I'm learning it, I'm loving it.

Re: KDE GUI for BitTorrent
How does this look?
noridlo45@ubuntubob:~$ kdesu kwrite /etc/apt/sources.list
kbuildsycoca running...
sudo apt-get install ktorrent
Is this what I should expect to see?
Thanks,

Re: KDE GUI for BitTorrent
Patrick,
I finally got the Ktorrent install resolved. Man is it cranking. I found a tip at Linuxquestions.org forum to install KDE-Dev package. Then uncommented the two lines for universe in the kwrite /etc/apt/sources.list.
Thanks for the tips. Couldn't do it without you.Kubuntu, I'm learning it, I'm loving it.

Re: KDE GUI for BitTorrent
I think the available version in apt repository is 1.0 (or am I mistaken?). If so, I would HIGHLY recommend using version 1.1 (or SVN version which has many new features). You can find 1.1 package for Kubuntu on our website :
http://ktorrent.pwsp.net/
Good luck!
