I am having a WiFi Connection problem and need help,

This is 70-persistent-net.rules. I have been searching for information, and found a post that suggested removal of this file might fix the problem. I don't understand the implications of what is said, but thought you would. It appears to me we are very close to fixing the problem, eluded by a bit of information. It was posted Dec. 13, 2014:

If you can't repair your wlan interface, wifi network, you must do this:

First activate your wifi by shortkey of your computer (for example Fn+F2).

Then:

rfkill unblock all
sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart

I just got connected. I went to the Router Manufacturer. During the help process, I found that my password is 63 characters. When I tried to connedt and a password was requested, copy/paste failed. Apparently 62 chagacters was the maximum my system could accept, so the 63 character password failed every time. We changed to a slightly smaller password and when entered the connection worked. Thanks to everyone who tried to help. I understand this is an unusual problem that was new to the technician. I hope this statement will help anyone who has the same problem. It was probably created in a version update, or something like that.
