Since this only happened after the re-installation of Kubuntu 14.04, I assume my Video Card did not crash with the OS.
I have a library of films in my computer that open from a file. Before my OS crashed and was unrepairable, I never had a video problem of this type.
About half or more of my videos open with the screen image on about a 45 degree right angle. The balance of my films play normally.
I remember years ago, when I had a TV, there were adjustments that when made would bring the screen image back into focus. I don't remember the terminology or I would have used it in my description.
Any suggestions on how to restore my viewing pleasure?
