With 'Ark' what do you do after you click on 'Extract'?

You guys are so patient. I have faced this so many times over the years. When a downloaded package comes in with Ark already selected, I have accepted it. When I did the tasks, like Extract, I never got an installation. Install is what I expected. When I inquired about it, or searched for solutions, the responses never made sense. I am usually laughing about now with joy, but this time, I feel exhausted. I am very grateful for the detailed instruction. Finally, I will be able to understand and use the applications that I download with the expectation of using them.

It is not easy being me. I have to feel like an idiot too many times. You all are very special to me. It has been several months now without my voice in the room. Your patience ended that. Thanks!
