Kernels ?

Hello,

I have 3 kernels in my os and would like to know how i can boot from start , without manually going into bios every time.

Bios? Or do you mean the grub boot menu? Are you looking to change which item is the default kernel to boot from?

If so, there is a GUI tool that helps edit Grub's settings

I have no idea if it is stable and safe, but the project has been around for a while.

grub-customizer has been stable and apparently safe for me. I recommend it.

I will install after updates from `Feathers McGraw ` regarding `apach2` in another post.

I can now boot from my chosen kernel by default.

Before, had to stop the boot process to gain access to bios settings and manually change kernel.

The solution was/is to use grub-customizer.

glad you got it sorted out ............................ BUT I have some points for you

first-- you need to get your terminology correct ---------- you are not going into the BIOS to change what kernels to boot ,,,,,that is the grub menu.
second-- if you had just answered @claydoh's questions we could have goten the results you wanted quicker and without installing anything.
third-- and just so the info is out their/hear their is a package in the repo's you can install with "muon package manager" that dose the same thing as grub-customizer
