Double click to open Desktop icons?

How do I double click to open desktop icons.currently single click opens desktop icons.

I have set the option System Settings>Input Devices>Mouse>Double click to open icons on

and in Dolphin folders do open with double click but desktop icons still open with single click

Just a quick thought. Did you close and re-open Dolphin after changing settings? Maybe a re-boot or simply a Ctr-Alt-Backspace (if your PC is set for that), log in again, and try?
