Right click on an empty piece of your desktop
    Configure Desktop
Behaviour (on the left hand side)
Then choose the option you want from the "menu bar at top of screen" section - the one you probably want is "current applications menu bar (Mac OS style)"
    apply

If you like the Mac look, you can also download Baghira from the Universe repo and follow a guide like this

    http://www.linuxgangster.org/modules...warticle&id=15

    or this

    http://baghira.sourceforge.net/OS_Clone-en.php

If you mean the animated dock bar OS X Dock on the Mac, then you can install kxdocker which is in the universe repro, and is an OS X Dock clone. Then as analyticalman say's install Baghira and you will have a lovely looking Mac look a like, if that's your bag.

I find it quite interesting that if you look on different distro forums there are many people who want their linux box to look like a Mac, but not many seem to want to buy a mac. Mac seem to have great design but an awful pricing structure.
