Kubuntu Security Programmes

I will soon be registering for on-line banking.

I know that some banks ask regarding the security software that customers have installed on the computers. In the case of Windows machines people can talk of firewalls and anti-virus programmes.

Other than telling them that Linux is more secure than Windows, can I quote some programmes. If so, which ones?

if your behind a router that blocks ports and you are not running Internet accessible services open to the world you should be good ,,,,,,,but you should wate for more responses.

I would tell them it's none of their business but ask them if they use https and what security features do they have/suggest

create a strong password for their site you will remember that has both upper and lower case letters and some special caricatures ,@,*,% and the such at least 10-13 caricatures long
