Hi guys eclipse is shutting down after seconds of me Starting a new Project. So I downloaded IntelliJ it works well, but I am used to eclipse.

It sounds like something in Eclipse is crashing. You need to find out what it is that is crashing. One thing you could try is to purge (completely remove) Eclipse and all config files stored in your home directory/partition then re-install it.

or perhaps open it from a terminal and watch the output for problems !!
