Deleting Signature Picture

I have placed the tick in the box indicating a deletion of the picture.
On logging out and then re-logging in, the picture is still present.

What is the correct method of deleting the picture?

Do some users use an external link for their signature pictures in order to avoid the 500x100 px, or 9.8kb restriction?

What graphics file formats does signature support?

I created a graphic signature (500x100 px), but it has been reduced to a very small image.

Can anyone advise?

put your pick on a service like picasa , photobucket , ect , ect then copy the location of the pick into the option-1

when you uploaded it was their any info that it would be resized ?

Not that I recall.

I may be having a problem with the graphics programme. It seems to be placing a canvas background larger than the image. This may be causing a problem
