Dear Sir/Madam,
Quite a newbie to kde, but have used ubuntu for a while.
I have installed kubuntu 14.04, and my knetwork manager widget icon on my default panel is showing a question mark.
if i hover the mouse over the icon, i get a popup showing a disconnected network cable.
i have configure networking manually using /etc/network/interfaces , and set a static ip in here for my wired eth0 nic , which works fine.
My computer also has a wireless card integrated on the systemboard, but its not used or configured in /etc/network/interfaces
I have searched & clicked through all panel & network options in the gui, but cannot find a way to fix this, the icon just displays a question mark.
i also tried adding a new connection in the gui network manager, but made no difference.
Any input on this is very appriciated.
Best Regards
Patric
