Hi.
I'm using Kubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr (LTS), 64bits, booted from its LiveCD, created from its .iso file, kubuntu-14.04.1-desktop-amd64.iso. It is the standard LiveCD with a minimal change, that I'll detail later.
So, the KDE Version is 4.13.2, Grub Version is 0.97-29ubuntu66. This is a Destop PC with an x86 64 bits, 4 cores Intel Processor, 1600MHz; Model 42. Graphics card is 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 2nd Generation Core Processor Family Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 09). Ram 4Gb, 1 HD internal Sata, and 1 DVD drive internal Sata.
Just booted the LiveCD, whit default settings, I tried to hear the audio stream from http://www.radiodelpueblo.com.ar/envivo.php . This will be the Stream Test page for this post.
It didn't work with these default settings.
So I installed Adobe Flash plugin from adobe-flashplugin_11.2.202.406-0precise1_amd64.deb, the last version, 6.6 Mb, downloaded from .http://www.ubuntuupdates.org/package...be-flashplugin
With this only change, it worked … for 10 (ten) minutes only.
After exactly ten minutes, Kmix, the Built-in Audio applet, crashed and disappeared from the task bar. I couldn't hear nothing any longer.
Kubuntu dind't even noticed that something was wrong. I searched the way to report a bug and I found it almost impossible.
I don't know how restore Kmix to the task bar.
I don't have this problem with Kubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin (LTS) 64 bits Live CD.
Any help would be appreciated.
Best regards.

Moreover, I do not understand why you are using a version of Flash Player indicating Precise when you are running Trusty. That is why I would go with the version of Flash Player off of Adobe's website.
Good luck!

I shoud make more test to see under exactly what conditions Trusty's Kmix crashes, but I'm using Precise to hear audio streamings.
Thank you.

I played that audio link for over 15 minutes without a problem on my FireFox 33.0 installation using

You can put "about : plugins" (without spaces or quotes) in the URL search bar to see what flashplayer you are using.Last edited by GreyGeek; Oct 16, 2014, 12:31 PM."A nation that is afraid to let its people judge the truth and falsehood in an open market is a nation that is afraid of its people.”
