The user customization aspects of vBulletin don't allow customizing that particular page element.

    Edit: see post #12.

Steve, do you have any memory of something you forgot? You are kind of like Samantha on Stargate SG1.

Your post encourages off topic discussion.

You have to do it in an image manipulation program. I use Gimp. Then change your profile image by uploading the modified image.
Windows no longer obstructs my view.
Using Kubuntu Linux since March 23, 2007.

I was referring to the white background area on which my image is placed.

You can customize your KFN settings by clicking on Profile and then on Customize my Profile.

I know, but I don't think that aspect of the profile can be customised.

                  Regarding the figure above, #1

The white background, on which everything else is the foreground.

Eh, Shab? Not sure what you mean, heh. I haven't watched that program anyway.

Here at KFN, we aren't as rigid as most other online forums about remaining strictly on topic. Please refrain from attempting to enforce rules.

I toook another look at this because I began do doubt my previous reply. I changed this setting on mine:

From the default value to #400040 and got a dark purple background in the box. So you can try that. It just won't have the gradient that's in the default vBulletin template, because the template uses an image file rather than a flat color specification. Or, like Showhow mentioned, you can create your own image file.

ya, like someone else stated. You will need to use something like Gimp and then upload the custom avatar.

                          This is my thread.

I think if people want to discuss off topic matters, then they should create their own threads, and not use mine for this purpose.

It is true that you started this thread. It is not true that you own it, or that you can enforce rules that don't exist on KFN.

                              I don't want to argue
