Steam - Couldn't find bootstrap - how to install on Kubuntu 14.04?

    Hopefully not veering to far off topic but have no steam in muon.
    Ok what am I missing here?

      tisk tisk ,,,,,,your in muon Discover ,,,,,,NOT the same thing as muon package manager or apt ,,,

      Discover is intended to quickly and graphically pleasingly sohow new users packages that fit the search field and are comonly looked for (I realy dont know how it dose its sorting) but dose not seam to show ALL packages.

      you should try "muon package manager" for a GUI package tool.

        Wow thanks, I can not believe that is not installed by default. I was wondering about the "Discover" part of the name, I thought the name had changed recently and the docs/web had not caught up yet. This is my first week with Kubuntu.

        Just installed and much better.....I will be removing the discover thingy.

        Update >>

        After installing Muon this morning I had updates to kernel, libc6 etc... and after a reboot and re-install Nvidia driver Steam works now. It acted like it had never been installed and started the whole client download and extract process. Now it works
