    HP Officejet 6700 wireless connection.

Under system settings and printers I show about 5 printers. some have a digit after them and the one I want and works in Ubuntu 14.04 at the end of the name says network)
However when I use word and try to print this printer does not show in the list. none of the other listed printers for the 6700 will work.
Also under systems settings and in the list of printers I can select the one that I want and it will print a test page.
I am using Windows 8,1 for the host.
VMPlayer for the virtual machine software ver 6
    any help would be appreciated.

I found the link that I got information from Ubuntu forums.
I did the same instruction in Kubuntu and now have the printer working great.
You open a terminal and then key in Sudo HP-Setup and your password and then it installs HP and finds your wireless printer and after highlighting the printer you can install it.
Hope this helps someone who may be experiencing the same problem as I was.
It also helped me in setting up a HP Laserjet 1020 that was connected by USB and it also works now too.
