Hello,
Not entirely sure if this is the right place , please feel free to update this post & me.
Upgrading to Utopic from Trusty ( 05.08.14 ) development branch.
The upgrade stalled on a Nepomuk library ( annoying so it is that apt-get locks and ceases to function, would have saved mucho time ).
It would appear that during the upgrade libnepomukcleaner4 becomes an obsoleted package, but does not remove itself from the DPKG status list.
libnepomukcore4abi1 is a dependancy of this library and nepomuk-common which is upgraded at the same time, they both have different versions of libnepomukcore4abi1 so an error is produced.
Removing libnepomukcleaner4 resolves this issue ( for now? maybe? ) .
I thought I'd write my development meddling experience notes on here.
Kind Regards,
Basil Dazz
