I am trying to use a feature of grsecurity (specifically, mprotect), but I can't get to a login screen. On booting, I just get a black display.
I may be able to get it to work if I can figure out which binaries are being blocked and I can exclude those binaries from the security package.
Someone on another board suggested trying to exclude /usr/bin/Xorg and /usr/bin/kdm. Excluding /usr/bin/Xorg makes no difference. And I don't find any /usr/bin/kdm.
(I have confirmed that if I turn off this specific feature of grsecurity globally while leaving all the other grsecurity features intact, I can get the system up and running.)
