Inbox disappears when I click on any email to read.

It has been a long time since I was able to install Kmail, which is my favorite email application. Nonetheless, there is a problem that I must fix.

When I click on the first incoming email to read, the entire incoming mailbox disappears before I can read them. Is this a unique error with my distribution or something that has happened with others. Thanks

I'm running Trusty and I have no issues with it. Have you tried reinstalling it?
sudo apt-get install --reinstall kmail

I do not have any reason why, but the problem self-corrected. I don't even remember an update to relate to. Thanks for the recommendation. There still seem to be some font size problems, however I want to work that issue a while to see if I can find the answer myself.
