Can't install Kubuntu

Hey guys, I'm VERY new to Linux but want to get away from the corporate world of Microsoft.

I have recently installed Ubuntu Dapper Drake and while I like th eidea of it, it seems like Kubuntu would be easier to use, is this correct?

Anyway, my problem is that when I try to install the kubuntu-desktop it tells me that it could not mark it for installation because:

"kubuntu-desktop:
Depends: language-selector-qt but it is not going to be installed"

It says to make sure all required repositories are enabled in the preferences. I thought I did this and it doesn't seem that I can add any more repositories than the ones I have added.

Please help me!
