No sound

Howdy folks,

I just installed latest Kubuntu version for the first time today. Everything is working well so far, and I am loving the experience. The one problem I am having, however, is that I have no sound. Realtek ACL662 is the chipset used for audio.

I have been searching around some other threads, and saw that in a lot of them the "ALSA info" is requested, so, here it is: http://www.alsa-project.org/db/?f=5a...6e286832ae5ec5

Well folks, interesting development.

I walked away for a couple minutes, came back. Boom, sound is working for the first time. Did not touch a thing, did not restart, nothing. Just left the computer sitting idle. I am sure something happened, but I have absolutely no idea what. Anyway, sorry for the waste of a thread, and thanks to anyone who was working on helping me.
