My specs are:
AMD X2 4600+
Asus M2N32-SLi Deluxe Motherboard
2X1GB Corsair DDRII RAM
S-ATA 160MB Maxtor DiamondMax HDD
Sont Floppy Drive (which isn't reading disks)
7600GT 256MB
I have tried to install kubuntu X86 and AMD64 but both have failed, the X86 having a problem with the timer (possibly running too fast) and the AMD64 getting stuck on the blue bar screen. I am new to linux, and have just built this monster of a machine, so I would like to know is there such thing as having a computer too fast to run linux? If so can you reccommend any distributions that will work?
Thanks
