    Brother MFC-J835DW Networked need help installing

    I thought that by downloading the deb package, that I would be able to install this printer.
    Turns out I am unable to, or lack the knowledge to do so.
    So I turn onto you folks here, to guide me to installing this networked printer.

    Running KB 13.10

    I have seemed to answer/solve my own issue.
    However I am going to post the instructions, in the event someone else
    needs help. All the have to do is read the steps, that I have done.

    +-Steps-+

    (1) Go to the brother website, click on support
    (2) Enter your printers model # and click on search
    (3) Under the Downloads & Drivers Tab | You should see an entry titled
    "*printer name* Downloads on our Online Solution Center" Click on this
    (4) Select your OS Linux (Deb) and the language followed by search button at the bottom
    (5) Click on Linux-brprinter-installer download & information
    (6) Download the file & Accept the license terms linux-brprinter-installer-2.0.0-1.gz
    (7) Go to your download folder. In my case I will click on KDE logo at the corner, navigate to computer,and select home, the click on Downloads folder
    (8) Right click within the downloads folder | And select Actions Open Terminal here
    (9) You will now have a terminal window open

    * You will need escalated Privilege aka SU= Super User to complete the rest of the steps.

    (10) type su it will prompt you for your su password enter your su password then press the enter key on your keyboard
    (11) enter bash linux-brprinter-installer-*.*.*-*
    (12) It will ask you for your printers model number Example mfc-j835dw
    it will return the following results
    Input model name ->mfc-j835dw

    You are going to install following packages.
    mfcj835dwlpr-3.0.1-1.i386.deb
    mfcj835dwcupswrapper-3.0.0-1.i386.deb
    brscan4-0.4.2-1.amd64.deb
    brscan-skey-0.2.4-1.amd64.deb
    OK? [y/N] ->

    (13)Enter y and hit the enter key on your keyboard
    you will see a bunch of scrolling text as the files begin to install

    (14) When you see the message "Will you specify the DeviceURI ?", For USB Users: Choose N(No)
    For Network Users: Choose Y(Yes) and DeviceURI.


    Example since my printer is networked

    Will you specify the Device URI? [Y/n] ->y


    0: http
    1: ipps
    2: socket
    3: hp
    4: lpd
    5: ipp
    6: beh
    7: smb
    8: ipp14
    9: https
    10: hpfax
    11: lpd://BRN001BA9C439E0/BINARY_P1
    12 (I): Specify IP address.
    13 (A): Auto. (usb://dev/usblp0)



    select the number of destination Device URI. ->12


    enter IP address ->192.168.1.120
    lpadmin -p MFCJ835DW -v socket://192.168.1.120 -E
    Test Print? [y/N] ->y


    wait 5s.





    A test page will now print, that's all to it.
