Unable to view folders or sync iPhone 5s

    Hi,

In my quest to completely leave windows behind, I have one final area to conquer. Synching music to my iPhone 5s - hopefully you can help

    Kubuntu 13.10
    Kernel 3.11.0-17-generic
    KDE 4.11.5
    QT 4.8.4
    64-bit

    iPhone 5s
    iOS 7.0.4

I have also upgraded libimobiledevice4 to version 1.1.6-git20140105 in order to avoid the infinite Trust this PC loop.

The phone is detected when plugged into my USB port and is recognized via lsub: Bus 003 Device 004: ID 05ac:12a8 Apple, Inc.
    The phone starts charging

KDE then asks what I would like to do with Camera: import with gwenview or open with dolphin. Both options provide zero output - trying to mount at camera:/

I'm at a loss on this one and hopefully someone can assist? TIA

Also just tried it on a Live Kubuntu 14.04 - upgraded to most recent packages as of today.

iPhone goes into trust loop on default install.

I install libimobiledevice4 1.1.6 GIT and I can connect with no Trust loop.
Device Notifier opens and asks if I want to connect via Gwenview or Dolphin. Success - I can see the photos now

If I turn on hotspot on my phone Network Manager automatically connects and allows me to tether to the phones Mobile Boradband. Good stuff!

Now my only issue is - how do I get amarok, or clementine to see the phone as a device - if I run lsblk it doesnt show the phone as being mounted. I'm new to KDE so I'm not sure if there is something I'm missing in order to mount the phone so applications can use it?

    Thanks.
