    People, if I can ask for some more help.

    If I use the ES Remote Manager function, it gives me an IP address. If I enter this in the location bar of Dolphin, it works - I get into my tablet. But, if I try and set up a network folder to go straight there with one click (Network -> Add Network Folder -> Network Folder Wizard -> choose FTP -> Network Folder Information), it fails. I guess I'm entering the information wrongly/not at all/whatever.

    I used this process to set up an SSH using sshdroid. I'm assuming I can do the same for an FTP folder. If so, can some kind person tell me exactly what information, in what format, to put in which box of the Network Folder Information?

    Many thanks

      @whatthefunk

      I do have Samba on my laptop, and I have managed to share with my wife's W7 PC. However, I've forgotten how I did it....... Sorry.

      Please, where will I find the info that ES needs?

      Thanks

        Youll need the following:

        Server: Your computer's internal IP address. http://www.wikihow.com/Find-Your-Internal-IP-in-Ubuntu

        Username and password....these you must haveset when you first installed samba. Do you remember them?

            Managed it. A bit of trial and error, and we're away....

            Cheers
