That means the file is empty or you typed in a file that doesn't exist.

Open dolphin, browse to /etc/samba and see if the file is there. Could be we have the filename wrong.

From the windows machine I know see the computer name, that's it, no files. From the Kubuntu machine I see the work group and that's all.
