LibreOffice Recovery errors

Using kubuntu 13.10 on a 64 bit system, 8G memory
Every time I either open an existing LibreOffice Writer Document, or start new one (by desktop shortcut), I am getting the message :
LibreOffice Document recovery, -sometimes has a list of previous docs: not recovered yet
My System Settings/Paths are OK. How can I correct this?

Allow it to recover the documents, save them after recovery, exit.

That's what I keep doing, but it has no effect!
Right now I cannot open an odt file, Folder & file: Owner- me, Access Permissions me & my group both rwx
Some other odt files open OK. Am I missing something??
