I can not type in KDE session

    Hi guys,

I am not new to linux(intermediate), but sth. strange happened to me. I can not type in KDE session, that is OK with gnome where I have written this one.

    Any ideas,

Can you be more precise? Are you saying that your system doesn't respond at all to your keyboard in KDE? Are there any programs that recognize the keyboard (like konsole). Can you login with KDM? Can you start a terminal (Ctl-Alt-F1)?

The first thing to try might be to start up in rercovery mode (the second entry on the Grub menu) and run "sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg". Pay special attention to the keyboard setup. The most drastic move would be to go to /home/utab/.kde (<-- do you see the dot?) and delete all the KDE configuration drectories. I'm sure there are steps in between, but I don't know enough about your problem to know what to suggest.
