Choose KDE Version to install in LTS

Hello,

i am wondering if there is a (easy?) way to choose the KDE version in any Kubuntu release. For example i like to run Kubuntu 12.04 with KDE 4.10.5. When i use the backports repository i will get KDE 4.11.2. I have updated my machine to Kubuntu 13.10 but am not that satisfied with the stability like i was with the older version. Is there any way to do this easily?

No, grabbing the latest 12.04.3 will give you the KDE version that is in the normal, official Ubuntu repos (4.8.x I believe), adding the PPA will still have to be done to get the latest KDE (4.11.x). You won't be able to select which version you want between those 2 KDE versions.
