I am trying to boot into Kubuntu on my eMac via a live Desktop CD. When I try to boot the default way, after the first screen loads all ok, it gets stuck on Restarting System log... Failed
It keeps repeating that until I turn the computer off. if I type video =ofonly, the screen will go blank after the first set are all loaded, and eventually I hear what sounds like a start sound. I receive no visual feedback though.
I did a disk check, and it all checked out ok.
