Dear colleagues,
I have Kubuntu "ubuntu-12.04.1-desktop-amd64" installed using Wubi in a dual boot Dell Vostro V-130, with windows. It always worked very well but since last week, kubuntu haven´t booted anymore. It takes some time in a black screen and then print the following message many times respectively:
udevd[123]: timeout: killing '/sbin/modeprobe -bv pci:v0008086...' [167]
...
Then: '/sbin/modeprode ...' terminated by signal 9 (killed)
Then it drops in a shell with minimal commands allowed and no disk mounted.
I am sorry I cannot say the version of KDE and Grub becouse I have no access to kubuntu anymore.
Thanks for the attention.
