I've run Boot-Repair, but not made any repairs or changes. Here is the BootInfo summary: http://paste.ubuntu.com/6108133

Are you sure that you've disabled Secure Boot? That GRUB wants to load shimx64.efi makes me think you haven't.

I know I unchecked it earlier today. Now I don't remember where it is to see if it's still disabled.

Yes, Secure Boot is disabled in my BIOS Setup Utility. Quick Boot and Rapid Boot are also disabled, and Boot Mode is set to UEFI Only.

When I tried the second piece of code on my installed kubuntu it said
            Reading package lists... Done
            Building dependency tree
            Reading state information... Done
efibootmgr is already the newest version.
            efibootmgr set to manually installed.
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 326 not upgraded.

I will try the first piece of code from the try Kubuntu settings.
