Stop Programs From Loading

Kubuntu. How to stop programs from loading, not delete them, but just stop from starting.

Tell a bit more....


KDE System Settings > Startup and Shutdown has subcategories:
- autostart
- service manager
- session manager

The user can change the starting programs/processes.


The Linux/KDE is starting programs from the autostart directories:

- /etc/xdg/autostart/
- /usr/share/autostart/

With the proper rights those programs can be disabled.

Thanks for the quick answer to my question. After I found Kubuntu I rarely use Windows anymore.
