    Window colour help

    Hi,
I am slowly learning all the features of KDE by playing with it but am stuck on a colour choice... Here is a snapshot of the screen. The brighter blue colour that fills the window I cannot find to change anywhere. I have been through all the options in System Settings - Application Appearance - > Colours - > Colours -> Colour Set:

It doesn't seem to be in there, I was wondering if it is set somewhere else? It's an obscure thing I know and not exactly vital to the use but it would be great if someone knew why it seems to be hard set. Thanks for your help! It is definately not View Background or Window Background or any of the other settings in the choices there.

    Try System Settings/Desktop Appearance/Desktop Theme
for a system-wide problem. Just change themes.

If it's just a Browser then it will be in the Browser's settings to change themes.

I believe it is like 'luckyone' said, however if what I am looking at was your choice from the color schemes in System Settings, then it is a style created and offered by some individual. I am sure the creator will not care if you take the code he as chosen and modified parts of it to suit your aesthetical appetite. You will just have to learn how to make those programming adjustments. Everything you see and use in Kubuntu is Open Source, if you have the knowledge of how to do something, you have open permission to adjust what you prefer differently. In any event if this is the case, you probably can find and download a combination of color and hue that you prefer, and won't need to learn how to write the program. I am not the best to advise, but freedom is all you get with Linux plus the gifts of technology that thousands of technicians are willing to give you, without charge.
