download question

Hi, I am just downloading kubuntu 12.10 32bit and after 952MB downloaded I got some strange window where is written: from EE2V45SG to "F:\"
F is my USB. Now it is downloading something 20 minites even 952MB was already finished.

I don't use Windows anymore, so I'm not sure about this, but did Windows download the file to its download directory, then begin copying it to the USB drive? Linux would do that all in one step, but I'm not sure about Windows.

In any case, what file did you download? Is it the *.iso file? If so, you will now have to burn it to a DVD so that you can boot from it and give Kubuntu a try. If you are attempting to just copy the file to the USB stick with the idea of booting from that, it probably won't work. A USB stick has to be set up so that it is bootable.
