    "Expand tree" icon

    Hi everyone,

im using kubuntu as my work OS now and im pretty satisfied except one thing :

The icon for expanding a tree is too small when I run Kubuntu on external monitor (24").
Thus it is almost impossible to expand tree by cursor (I can by keyboard but its messy).
This works fine when run on laptops' LCD, the problem is only with big LCD with nice res (1650x1050).

Im using Eclipse for development and I can hardly expand projects....

If anyone can help, please, it will be greatly appreciated.

Try this: Open System Settings | Application Appearance | Style page, then the Applications tab. Click the Configure button next to Widget style. Open the Views tab. Click Show advanced configuration options. Change the Triange size to something larger.

            Well, that's disappointing.

I had pictured you reading from an ancient tomb while tossing various powders of questionable origin into a gurgling pot suspended over a flaming pyre. You know - long pointed hat, even longer grey beard, satin slippers, etc.

I am almost positive some of your knowledge requires witchcraft.

What makes you think I'm not doing exactly that? Various questionable powders gurgling in a pot suspended over a flaming pyre provide my sustenance, while the fire itself also powers the generator that provides the electrons required to read the screen in this otherwise dismal and dank ancient tomb. Ah, a strong draft is kicking up...excuse me while I don a velvet robe. The pointed hat and satin slippers aren't enough to comfort me from the howling winds.

As long as you aren't using rhino horn or harming any endangered animals then I don't care what "questionable powders" you use for your knowledge.

That is good. You should totally get a badge stating that so that other members will immediately recognize your animal friendly forum posts. I recommend "Animal Friend" but I do not recommend "Furry Lover."

Yeah, that would probably attract a bunch of not-my-types. Good idea.

                        Hey,

thx once again for the reply but I observe yet another wierd behavior.

Sometimes (actually most of the time) when I expand a tree by clicking on the "expand icon",
tree gets expanded but when I try to click on any of expanded items (subitems)
                        tree gets collapsed.

Somethings really strange os going on with trees in Kubuntu.
                        Im using Kubuntu 12.04 btw.
