Spanish subdivision of the forum

Hi
As my English is poor and not good and my Spanish zero
I would appreciate to ask sometimes my questions in my own languages French or German.
Is the add of each a subdivision for French and/or German perhaps possible to avoid to disturb in the normal subdivisions with not comprehensible languages?
(I see that the French Kubuntu forum at http://www.kubuntu.fr/news/news.php seems to be dead: last message 2011 + message error if you try to register)

kubuntu-de.org has a forum, but it seems impossible to log in there. They do have an email list which may serve them better than a forum


I do not recall too well, but we don't have French or German subforums mainly because of the existence of the German and French communities. There has been zero interest expressed in having them here as far as I know.

I think you might be the only member of both the French and German subforums. Unless there are more members who want to join such a team, I think we should maybe not have individual language subforums. If we made a new forum every time somebody wanted one in their own language, we could have hundreds of subforums, each with one lonely poster.

I bet a quick google search in your native language could bring up Ubuntu and KDE forums that could be useful to you.

Thank you for the answer. I did made this proposition because I immediately did have a answer from a friendly native English spoken forum user explaining he did not understand what were a part of my questions.

Ok French and German communities did exist... But as you can see in above link the French community sleeps or is dead. Concerning the German community:

a. German is only my second language
b. the German community is very especial I think (as French man) for 2 reasons: b1. English is obligation for more than 30 years in Germany, so that a great %tage of German people speaks English as second language and b2. is Germany the origin country from KDE (created at the Tübingen University) and is the standard WM from Suse Linux, the German distributions leader and more oldest yet available distribution in second place after Slackware, so that in matter of KDE the German community seems me extremly Suse Linux oriented and has often other problems as Debian etc. users meet.

Where there are zero possibility you will often meet zero interest! This argumentation is the best argumentation to avoid to create somewhat and kill all what would be new...

I only can repeat: I am new, I immediately meet answer showing it is difficult to understand what I write, I would disturb if I would insert French or German messages within usual subdivisions to make my answer more clear and understable, and as there IS on this forum yet a foreign language subdivision it seems me normal to accept more excepted allergy against all what is foreign languages...

I do appreciate your 'frustration', but without meaning to sound like the 'ugly American', this is an English speaking Forum, based in the United States. For a while, KFN had a French board (we still have a Spanish board), but it was being used so infrequently that it was discontinued.

Among all of our members here, I'm sure that there are more than a few who are able to speak and write French. We do ask that posts be in English (unless posting in the Spanish board), which you are doing, and which we appreciate. However, if you desire, make your posts in English and French.

I would point out, that I have read some of your posts, and I do not have a problem understanding your English. And I am sure that if you post something requiring clarification because of the language difficulties, we will ask for it.
