    What is KVM ? - not stared at bootup.

              Here is a how-to on this subject, with an explanation of the numbering conventions. Basically sdx(1-4)are reserved for the main primary and any main "extended" partition that can contain 'logical' partitions - which allows a system to have more than the maximum of 4 partitions.

              Are you experiencing any actual problems from this?

                Not having any problems with my system that I am aware of - so far! BUT - if there may be problems, I would prefer tp prevent them now.

                  you should not have problems with your drive naming being out of sequence,,,,it just inset tidy is this a new install , have you moved/deleted partitions ,,,how did you/ what did you partition it with to start with?

                  your atachment is not their ,,,,, and what are you neading "Control Center Modules -PATHS" for ,,,where did you see it that it a concern ?

                    I partitioned the drive during kubuntu CD install procedure.

                    I am reviewing the HELP / KDE Help Center info because I want to learn more about KDE. The section "Control Center Modules -PATHS" is just one I want to review - the Attachment I posted at the beginning of this thread is still active. I just tried it.
                    Now I want to know where I can find my PATHS.
