I don't know what exactly changed on my system, when I change an icon the change is not shown. The old png icon remains stuck, until I manually delete "/var/kdecache-userID/icon-cache.kcache". I have looked high and low. Some say you must logoff, that is not a good option, since I never needed to logoff before the recent upgrade. The app in use is dolphin 2.0 using KDE 4.8.5
