I am trying to install Backup in Time from a web site via the repository,
following their instructions as listed below:
Terminal commands:
gksu gedit /etc/sources.list
Add the following line to the end of the file. Save and close.
deb http://backintime.le-web.org/repository stable main
(Note: this as far I got! the sources.list file
is blank & locked! Howcome?)
and then add the GPG key information:
wget http://backintime.le-web.org/repository/le-web.key
For KDE 4.1 and above
sudo apt-key add le-web.key
sudo apt-get install backintime-common backintime-kde4
As a non expert user, I sure would appreciate help on solving this.
