    Shockwave flash

    Hi,
I just got a computer with OS Kubuntu and Firefox Browser. But at the plugins of firefox shockwave flash is missing. So, videos and games do not work. At my computer in Firefox plugins I can find Shockwave Flash version 11.2r202, last update 12/15/2012. Where can I download this newest version of Shockwave Flash and how is it to install in Firefox?
    Kind regards, Sigurd

There are two ways to get the adobe-flashplugin:

Directly from the Ubuntu partner repositories /1/ or with the flashplugin-installer /2/.

    Options

    1. adobe-flashplugin from Ubuntu partner repositories

Open the package manager and enable the Ubuntu partner repositories and install the adobe-flashplugin.

    2. install the flashplugin-installer

    :~$ apt-cache show flashplugin-installer

Description: Adobe Flash Player plugin installer

plugin supports playing of media and other dynamic content online.
    .

And if you want all the proprietary goodies, just intall kubuntu-restricted-extras and kubuntu-restriced-addons meta-packages.

I think he meant "the application named Konsole".

Aaaa I did not consider it that way , that makes more sense.

I was hoping that @jimmy.P did not think that it(konsole) was just for installing apps , and wanted to know why he was referring to it in this way, as I have seen him do a few times now.
and as each time it was to tell someone how to install something,,,,,,,well maybe I got the wrong idea
