Problems With Repositories (Fixed)

I've recently been having problems reaching any and all kubuntu repositories. I've tried several different sources lists, even going back to the backup default list, but whenever I try to update, I get something like

Since it hapens no matter what list I use I'm beginning to wonder if it isn't some sort of network problem instead of a problem with my sources list. I don't know what I've done this time. Anyone have any ideas?

Made a little progress. Got all repositories working exept the freecontrib ones. Does anyone know if I need a key to acess them? When I try to update I get this now...

That's the sources.list I use. I also keep that thread updated regularly as URL's change and/or repos disappear or whatever. Feel free to use the entire list, or parts of it or whatever.

I grabbed the cipherfunk repo off your list thinking it might have some of the packages I'm looking for, like the w32codec and the flashplugin-nonfree, but no go.

I backed up all my important files and did a fresh text install. During installation, I got a warning saying something like "could not connect to ubuntu security, repositories will be commented out," but I was able to complete the install. I can access all the repos on my list, except the "free non-free" and "cipherfunk" ones. I can do without flash for a while, but I really need the w32codecs. If I couldn't access some of the repos during installation, I'm thinking it might be a problem with my DSL, except that I've never had this sort of problem before.

You can always check there for the URL to the PLF repos which contains win32codecs. Their URL changes from time to time and they keep their page pretty well up to date.

The Cipherpunk errors happen quite often as the site only allows so many users at a time. If it errors on me, I try again a few minutes later to find it pulls the info from there without problems.

I just did an update during this post, and every thing in my sources.list was good. I got no errors, not even from freecontrib.org. So maybe you have a DNS issue or something somewhere along the lines.

The problem has something to do with doing an alternate install of the new Dapper 6.06.1.

I did a clean install off a CD I burnt a month or so ago and the repos work fine. To check, I did another install on the same computer with an alt install CD I burnt last night (MD5's good) and had the same install problem with not being able to read the repos during the install or after the install after I uncommented them.

Did one last install with the old ISO, everything worked, updated through the Adept automatic updater and everything still works. Not sure exactly what the problem was, but I'm glad everything is working again.
