ati 9700 -1680-1050

i have an ati 9700 and a apple screen but i cant see anything if i run kubunto only on my 15" dell monitor


what can i do to let it run and boot on a 20"

but if i boot whit the cd in it it works
ill try to install it again but maby you got a tip

During the installation process, were you given the option to select screen resolutions/size? The reason I ask is I used the text install and I don't know if it was an option in the live install. In any event, you can change your screen options by opening a terminal and typing "sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg". One of the options will be something like "select screen properties" (I don't remember exactly) and will have simple, medium, or advanced. Select "simple" and then your screen size. It will allow you to reconfigure several properties, but if your not absolutely sure what your doing, leave the ones your unsure of at their default settings. If it doesn't work it may be a problem with your card, but since it works with your other monitor I would start there.
