Unable to connect to Internet

[Bumpalot]

Using Linux v12 using KDE 4 Desktop. (This system works perfectly in WinXP Pro).

Trendnet 200Mbps Powerline Utility (Using home electrical wiring system)
Room 1 Computer (WinXP Pro) – Device 1


Room 2 Computer (Linux v12 using KDE Desktop) – Device 2
Connected through the Powerline adapter



Connection Name: Wired connection 1
Click the Edit button.
Click “Connect Automatically”
Method: Automatic (DHCP)
Ethernet Button: Restrict To Interface - Any
Cloned MAC Address: 00:141:7B:10:88
Click Autonegotiate
Click OK
Shows: Wired connection 1 – When activated – State: Connected

Perhaps you need to install that faifa package to get HomePlugs to work? Don't really know, as I've never used one.

Am using WinXP (arggggghhh!!) using the same drive & Trendnet connection, because I do have Internet connection here) but cannot access https://dev.open-plc.org/ - "unable to connect"!
Have sent a help request to Trendnet for Linux code or other sources that will solve my delema!
Will get back if I find a solution. Thanks for your advice.
