    Remote Access to a Mac

I want to be able to connect remotely to a Mac from my laptop running Kubuntu 12.04. Is there a remote desktop application that will let me do that? I have done some research and supposedly Logmein has an Ubuntu app but the screenshots looked like they were from 10.04.

RealVNC should work but it's not open source. Maybe you can do it with others like tightvnc,

Well as long as it is free it should work for me. I googled it and the free version looks pretty good. I have never heard of tightvnc before, though. Thanks for the help.

mac os comes w/ a built in vnc server. you only have to configure that (look in its system settings) then use the vnc protocal in the krdc and you should be working from there.
